Here at All Pure Cleaning, we LOVE to use essential oils in our client's homes and love using diffuser blends in our own homes to leave the place smelling as beautiful as it looks. Every essential oil has different benefits and can be used in a variety of ways. We love to use essential oils that promote restfulness, relaxation and calm, as we believe your home should be your sanctuary.

These are some of our favourites and the ways that we would use them:

PEPPERMINT

Peppermint is known for its ability to help calm an upset stomach and to help promote good respiratory function and health. We love relaxing with a cup of peppermint tea after a big day of over indulgence or when we feel like we are in need of a healthy pick-me-up. When diffused, peppermint smells absolutely delicious and can help you stay alert and refreshed throughout the day. Peppermint oil is known to help encourage a natural sense of awareness so diffusing this oil in your home office might help you stay on task and get more done! We also love to use peppermint oil in the home to discourage bugs from creeping in. Peppermint oil has been shown to ward of bugs and spiders, so keeping this handy will help keep your home clean from unwanted guests.

TEA TREE OIL

Tea tree is especially useful for its antiviral properties. If you’ve just completed a big clean, why not try diffusing some tea tree oil throughout your home to help discourage any unwanted germs and bugs that try to sneak back in during the following days. Diffusing tea tree oil will give your home a fresh, clean smell and compliment all the hard work yourself or your cleaner have done to make your home spotless.

LAVENDER

Lavender provides a lovely calming aroma making it perfect to diffuse in family spaces such as the living room. Diffusing lavender in communal areas in the home can promote feelings of comfort and happiness – which are perfect during these cold winter months. Lavender is also known for its ability to promote relaxation, making it perfect for diffusing in bedrooms to promote restful sleep. Lavender is one of our must have essential oils.

CLARY SAGE

Clary Sage is another essential oil which helps promote feelings of relaxation and calm. Clary sage is especially well known for its ability to help calm and sooth the skin. This makes it the perfect oil to try using both in and out of the diffuser. For those of you who suffer from painful period cramps – clary sage is known to help ease painful muscle cramping and could make suffering through painful periods much more manageable. Try rubbing a small amount of clary sage into your lower abdomen for a natural and relaxing pain management alternative.

We share lots of essential oil blends on our facebook and instagram pages which you will LOVE so head on over and be sure to try the diffuser blends we share.
